The Central Texas Black Authors Gala was founded in Austin, Texas, June 2022, by Austin-based author, AmberElizabeth Addison-Scott under the Books By Amber Umbrella.

 

The Central Texas Black Authors Gala Vision is to honor and celebrate the Black Literary Voices of Central Texas and exhibit Black Excellence.

We Honor Authors from Austin, Pflugerville, Round Rock, Killeen, Georgetown, Leander, Waco, Hutto, Temple, Cedar Park, Copperas Cove, Bastrop, Elgin, Lampasas, San Antonio, Marble Falls and parts of Houston, TX.

The Third Annual Gala will be held September 7th, 6:00pm. More Details to come.
